We’re excited to share with you about our ministry with ICC, a growing network of international churches focused on Europe.
Some call Europe “the prodigal continent” …
Because of its abandonment of its Christian heritage for secularism. With less than 3% of people attending a Christian church, it is a mission field in need of the gospel.
This creates a window of opportunity to spread the gospel globally. The English language is widely used, and it is the common language of global business, immigrants, and in-country nationals.
International churches provide a way to gather the nations to hear the gospel, find community, and make disciples.
The church in Munich, Germany has a congregation of 250, with 40-50 countries represented. 25% are Germans! In Geneva, Switzerland, the international church has 350, with 70 nations represented.
These churches are on the front lines of the new globalism, of immigration, and of secularism.
ICC began in 2007 with church plants in Prague, Aix en Provence, Lyon, and Marseille. It has grown to 25 churches as pastors and churches have joined the community. The ministry is gospel-centered, biblical, and missional.
ICC specializes in international churches, and hosts an annual pastors’ retreat to connect and minister to pastors and families. We believe that there is a need for a vibrant, international church in each of the 100 principal cities of Europe.

For years we have had a heart for the gospel, for the church, and for Europe.
In 2011, as pastor of Lake Baldwin Church, I was invited to speak at the annual pastors' retreat sponsored by ICC. In 2014 I joined the board, and have since become chairman of the board. We have spent years building relationships and trust, and now we have taken on an expanded role, where I will serve as Pastor at Large.
Our role at ICC
Molly and I will come alongside front-line pastors, missionaries and their wives, to shepherd them, encourage them, and to invest in them.
As Pastor at Large, I will be involved in preaching, pastoral care, and leadership development. We will also be involved in ministry expansion by working with church planters in new locations. My role as board chairman will continue, working on future direction and growing the capacity of the organization.

ICC is a faith-based missions organization, and all of the leaders serve as volunteers or raise their own support. We will be raising our support through Reliant Mission. They will be handling contributions for our ministry partners, compensation, and reimbursements.
